What special experience have you had at a resort that you’d be excited to share?
One of our recent noteworthy vacations with our Interval International membership was to the Renaissance® Wind Creek Aruba Resort, which we returned to for our 10-year anniversary after getting married at the same resort in 2015. Our children haven’t stopped talking about the adventures and fun we had together. The Renaissance rooms comfortably accommodated our family with space for all of us and a kitchenette to cook basic meals for our young kids. Our family created a routine where we woke up early and ate the delicious breakfast buffet at Fresco, and after, our kids would play on the playground located on the property. Then we’d head off to one of the pools or the private island or to the small, shallow beach right at the Ocean Suites, where we’d relax in a cabana or splash in the water.

What activities and experiences made the resort stand out during your stay?
We appreciated that there were specific areas that were extra welcoming for kids, such as the waterslide and basketball hoop in one of the pools and the indoor playroom. One day we all participated in a pool Zumba class. Another day, the resort had shaved ice in the afternoon. We took advantage of the snorkeling equipment rentals on Renaissance Island to get a closer look at the colorful fish, and we fed the resident flamingos while marveling at their beauty and grace. There was no shortage of things to do right within the resort, yet we also felt comfortable leaving the resort to go to the nearby marketplace where there were other restaurants, treats, and an arcade. We also walked through town and did some shopping. The beauty of Aruba and the friendliness of the people who live there have made it a destination we will return to again and again, and we look forward to making more memories at the Renaissance Aruba.
